Jessica Alba brought 3-month-old daughter Honor Marie with her to New York City for her very first fashion week! Okay, so Honor wasn't exactly sitting in the front row with her fashion-forward mommy when she hit up Narciso Rodriguez's Spring 2009 runway show yesterday along with Claire Danes and Julianna Margulies, but baby girl did get to experience the excitement of life in the Big Apple. Judging from Honor's cute pink and green ensemble, we're sure she's on her way to becoming a fashionista as well!

Britney Spears’ MTV Music Awards appearance was last night named the greatest comeback ever.

The singer looked stunning as she picked up three Best Video gongs – showing the world she is over her personal problems.

In the past two troubled years Brit, 26, has shaved her hair, suffered psychological breakdowns, and gone through a divorce and a custody battle over her children.

But she made a glittering appearance at the US awards ceremony on Sunday, looking healthier than ever before.

And as a result she has pipped Brit boyband Take That in the comeback stakes. The lads split up in 1996 but came back with a bang in 2006 with a sell-out tour.

John Sewell of Onepoll, which carried out the vote, said: “Brits love a success story and eight months ago it looked all but over for Britney.

“In February we were gripped by reports that she had been admitted to a psychiatric unit.

“And yet she has managed to put in a controlled, composed and glittering appearance at the MTV Awards.

“We’re now all hoping a chart-topping album will prove that Britney really is back on form.”

Third place went to Kylie Minogue, 40, who made a brave return to the limelight in November 2006 after battling breast cancer.

IT’S been the worst kept secret in showbiz for months but Sam Ronson thrilled a few lucky people by announcing her engagement in one of Hollywood’s most exclusive boltholes.

The loved-up brunette, 31, took everyone’s breath away by using her DJ slot at the Chateau Marmont to detail her plans to marry 22-year-old Lindsay Lohan.

Your very own Goss had snuck alongside the institution’s parlour singer Raymond as he got set to perform a version of the Beatles’ All My Loving designed especially for Li-Lo.

And then Sam herself made her stunning announcement.

She said: “By the end of this year, my love will be Mrs Ronson.”

And the record spinner added: “Tonight shows the power of a woman – to underestimate that is to underestimate the world.”

Raymond, who is the Sunset Boulevard hotel’s jewel in the crown, said: “They are the most in love Hollywood couple I’ve ever seen.

“Every Friday night they come in here and do cheesy dancing. MC Hammer is their favourite.”

And here’s us thinking they both had style…

While Brad Pitt is out and about, hopping between film festivals to promote his latest flick, “Burn After Reading,” Angelina Jolie’s remained in near-seclusion at their French home since giving birth to twins in July.

According to recent reports, the actress is so exhausted she’s unable to play with her children, much less join her partner’s publicity blitz.

“(Angie’s) been staying in bed most of the time,” a friend told In Touch. “All she does is nap. She has little or no appetite and has to force herself to remember to eat because she is still breast-feeding.”

The friend explained that Angelina is showing signs of what may be postpartum depression, as she “cries at the drop of a hat and laughs at inappropriate times,” but another insider disagrees.

It’s simply a case of severe fatigue that has the “Wanted” star down, a close source revealed to Star magazine. Raising six children, breast-feeding two of them, and recovering from a c-section is enough to drain anyone, after all.

“Angie feels so weak and uncomfortable that she can’t even sit on the ground and play Barbies with Zahara and Shiloh,” the source said. “She wants to be able to run around and play with her older kids.”

Now that she’s put her dark days behind her, Britney Spears feels better than she has in years and she says she owes it all to one person: her dad.

In an interview with the Daily Star, the singer praised her conservator-father Jamie for his efforts and self-sacrifice.

“My father saved my life,” Britney explained. “I probably wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him.”

The pop star confessed she hasn’t always been the perfect daughter, but said her dad “basically gave up his job and his life to look after me at a time when I wasn’t even sure I wanted to go on living.”

Though she initially resisted Jamie’s court-ordered control, Britney admits it’s the very thing that saved her.

“I owe him my life,” she told the paper.

The pop princess has finally cleared out her closet of hangers on, spongers and bad celebrity influences.

Gone are late nights out with no knickers, bashing cars with umbrellas and romps with mystery men in swimming pools.

The 26-year-old has also ditched the booze and partying and swapped them for a counsellor and a personal trainer as she plans her big music comeback.

And it’s all down to her dad Jamie, 56.

Brit tells us: “My father saved my life. I probably wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him. I’ve not always been a good daughter, but he basically gave up his job and his life to look after me at a time when I wasn’t even sure I wanted to go on living. I owe him my life.”

Jamie has devised a plan to get his daughter back on track after her 18 months of hell. He has brought in a personal trainer, a chef, a lifestyle coach, self-help books and a booze counsellor.

Jamie, who is divorced from Britney’s mum Lynne, 53, is her court-appointed carer until the end of the year and makes all the major decisions in her life.

He has overcome his own battle with the booze and has drawn up a list of ground rules, which he calls the “12 steps to recovery”, and they are firmly stuck to Brit’s fridge door in her Malibu mansion.

They include removing all drink from her home, staying in more and reining in her spending. He also makes sure she is in bed by midnight and has called in a bank of staff to help him, including a cook, personal trainer and a bodyguard.

It seems to be working as Britney is looking in the best shape she’s been in for years.

And with a rumoured appearance at tomorrow night’s MTV Video Music Awards in LA, it could be just what she needs to remind us why we first fell in love with her nine years ago.

Best: Britney's comeback was in full swing last night at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards as she wowed the crowd in an impeccable silver frock, strappy heels, and a smile.

Worst: Her performance was undoubtedly hot, but Christina Aguilera's mermaid frock and fried mane certainly were not.

Worst: Rihanna disappointed in a low-cut black top, asymmetrical skirt, and putrid white pumps.

Best: The slim-cut suit and checked tie worn by Zac Efron worked well as did his slicked-back 'do.

Worst: Her locks were lovely, but Taylor Swift put us to sleep in this colorless dud of a dress.

Best: Pink's belted black and red strapless gown provided the pop star with yet another hit.

Worst: A few members of Danity Kane managed to make it work, but as expected Aubrey O'Day (far left) flopped in her silvery Asian-inspired frock, fake bake, and wild mane.

Best: Reality TV "star" Tila Tequila kept it classy for once in a white shirt, belted black vest, and tuxedo pants.

Worst: Ciara's dress was decent, but her coif was an absolute catastrophe!

Best: Tokio Hotel lead singer Bill Kaulitz had fun on the red carpet, and we applaud him for his sense of style and crazy coif!

Worst: Chris Brown didn't wow us in this white blazer, skinny blue tie, and sloppy sneakers.

Best: "HSM" hottie Ashley Tisdale impressed in a stunning strapless cocktail dress and strappy silver heels.

Worst: We've been fans of Tocarra since her "Top Model" days, but this too-tight 80s getup was anything but fierce!

Best: A very pregnant Ashlee Simpson looked absolutely beautiful in a simple black dress and matching heels.

Worst: Kid Rock's trashy tank-top and fugly fedora tanked on the red carpet.

Best: Season 6 "Idol" champ Jordin Sparks won us over in her flirty frock, sexy stilettos, and dark nail polish.

Worst: We weren't banking on a blazer or a tie, but "Superbad" star Jonah Hill could have (and should have) put forth a little more effort.

Best: Audrina Patridge popped a pose in a gorgeous gold ensemble.

Worst: Reality star Brooke Hogan looked more trashy than classy in her shimmering mini and clear strappy sandals.

Best: Nicole Scherzinger and her Pussycat posse shocked everyone by sporting relatively elegant ensembles.

Worst: Miley looked amazing, but country crooner Taylor Swift and "I Kissed a Girl" chanteuse Katy Perry apparently forgot to hire stylists for the star-studded event.

Best: We love to hate on Spencer Pratt, but at least he wore a suit to the event! Meanwhile, his honey Heidi Montag attempted her best rock 'n' roll look in a sparkling mini and black booties.

Worst: The ladies still love LL Cool J, but they'd love him even more if he'd tried a little harder on the red carpet.

Worst: Couldn't DJ Fatman's wife Shaunda dress him before hitting the red carpet? The dress socks and sandals combination was particularly heinous.

Best: Stephanie Pratt personified perfection in a super sexy cocktail dress and ravishing red heels.

Best: As usual, Mel B and her hubby Stephen Belafonte dressed to impress!

Worst: Kobe Bryant looked dapper despite his shiny shoes, but wife Vanessa's beaded boots and accessories were a fashion foul.

Best: Although we're not quite sure why former Miss USA Tara Conner was at the VMAs, she looked hot in her black and white mini.

Best: Although Ne-Yo mixed a couple of different patterns together, he made them work by topping them off with a fab leather jacket and fedora.

Best: "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford classed up the red carpet in a dapper blue suit.

Worst: We don't mind when stars make political statements, but Taboo's shoes were way over to top.

Best: Ludacris donned the perfect ensemble for strutting down the VMAs red carpet.

Best: "Hills" hottie Lauren Conrad sparkled upon arriving at the event in what was likely a piece from her very own collection.

Best: Miley Cyrus looked magnificent in her age-appropriate dress and flawless footwear.

Worst: Not only were Lindsay Lohan's hair extension a hot mess, but her wrinkled mini also happened to miss the mark.
